Lisa Lawn: Lisa is driven by her commitment to helping others make lasting changes in their quality of life. She knows that lasting changes toward healthy lifestyle habits require commitment, motivation, inspiration and support. She is a natural at effectively teaching, guiding and motivating clients to get results that benefit their lives.
Lisa graduated magna cum laude from Coastal Carolina University in 1997 with a bachelors’ degree in Health Promotion and specialized as a personal trainer and rehab trainer since 1996.
Lisa pursued intensive training in hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming through Bennett Stellar University. She earned certification(CHt) through the National Guild of Hypnotherapy a in 2005.
Further studies with pioneers in modern psychotherapy inspired direction toward clinical-hypnotheraputic application. As practitioner of hypnotherapy at San Diego Cancer Center’s complimentary medicine program, Lisa worked one-on-one with patients dealing with challenges associated with cancer and cancer treatment. Using hypnotherapeutic methods in the clinical setting created avenues to study further applications for her various skills & techniques.
Lisa’s experience in private hypnotherapy practice in Solana Beach, California inspired her to develop The Quit Method. The Quit Method is an effective tobacco intervention program that gets results for the client who is serious about becoming a non-smoker. Combining her skills, experience and education in behavior modification techniques, Lisa now trains smokers to kick the habit using brief cognitive-hypnotherapy. She prepares the client for a life free from cigarettes using proven techniques, including hypnosis, cognitive behavioral therapy and neurolinguistic programming (NLP).
