Most of our clients’ weight problems emanate from the fact that they eat when they are bored, lonely, miserable, or any number of other emotional scenarios. None of which have anything to do with physical hunger.  It’s a sad fact that, as a result of our conditioning from birth, we all have a propensity to bury our feelings in food.  However, if we eat because of emotional hunger, our bodies will never feel satisfied because no amount of food is going to change the way we feel –ultimately, it will only cause us to feel worse and turn to dieting.

The word ‘diet’suggests a short term focus or interruption to your normal patterns of eating. You may diet and experience temporary weight loss, but because your unconscious mind likes consistency, it will ensure that you ultimately return to your normal eating patterns.  And the cycle continues...

Through the use of Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy® and proprietary Life Coaching techniques, we help change your eating habits by retraining your unconscious mind.  The unconscious mind is the part of the mind holding your beliefs and associations about food and your body shape/image.

Hypnosis and neuro-linguistics bypass the conscious mind and help create an alternative state of consciousness during which attention is focused towards particular images, thoughts, perceptions, feelings, motivations, and behaviors that help change the feelings associated with emotional eating.  At the same time, helps install new, more helpful eating habits.
