Overcome Anxiety

During a free initial consultation we’ll discuss your specific experience of anxiety and agree to a treatment plan that delivers a fast and effective solution within a caring and professional environment.

After experiencing anxiety attacks, many of people profess to feeling more lost, desperate, and more scared than ever before. The physical symptoms of a racing heart, sweaty hands, and a sickness in the stomach, together with the psychological symptoms of paranoia and mentally ‘floating’, make for an incredibly unpleasant experience.

And because anxiety is usually triggered by specific circumstances, many of our clients also talk about avoiding those situations where they expect to experience anxiety the most.  This in of itself can exacerbate the problem, especially if those situations involve work, socializing, or facing up to relationship issues.

Unfortunately, consciously trying to control anxiety can be extremely difficult and often ends up simply making matters worse. The reason is because what we focus on we tend to amplify, so trying to think our way out of anxiety can lead to us creating evermore anxiety provoking thoughts, which only serve to increase the symptoms

The reason Neuro-Linguistic Coaching® is so effective at helping overcome anxiety is because it focuses on effecting change in the unconscious mind; the part of the  mind where we store our memories, our beliefs, and our learned and conditioned responses. And that’s where the root of the causes of anxiety lays, embedded deep within the client’s unconscious mind.

Similar to day dreaming, attention can then be focused towards particular images, thoughts, perceptions, feelings, and behaviors which will help you most.  Then all those old triggers that used to cause you to feel scared or fearful will become a thing of the past, leaving you more confident, more relaxed, and better able to enjoy life.
